Boarding at Verbier International School is designed to feel personal, supportive, and full of opportunity.
With around 45 boarders supported by six members of residential staff, students benefit from a high level of individual care and attention. Our boarding team knows each student personally and is there to support them academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their time at VIS.

Boarding life combines structure and independence, with time for study, sport, activities, friendships, and relaxation.

From sharing meals and contributing to chalet life to exploring the mountains and supporting one another, boarding at VIS helps young people develop confidence, resilience, independence, and meaningful friendships.
We offer a range of boarding options, including full boarding, weekly boarding, Winter Term boarding, and flexible boarding arrangements for day students.
